What we did for Orangetheory Fitness

We helped build greater awareness for the corporation’s philanthropic and community engagement efforts.

Orangetheory Fitness’ Colorado 30+ franchisees along the Front Range and Denver-Metro area host monthly events that often raise money for a charity or a member in need.  We built a storyboard around these events to tell the greater “More Life” mission of how the brand is dedicated to supporting its members and the community.

Placing earned and sponsored stories about the faces of these Colorado studios appeared online, in community newspapers and on local television.  

Sampson PR helped to create a partnership with Children’s Hospital Colorado for Orangetheory’s One Dollar, One Day, One Heart annual event that benefits the hospital’s Heart Institute. Developing a storyboard for this event with a human-interest angle created a compelling way to share Orangetheory’s “good news.”

With dozens of philanthropic events a year, we compiled an editorial calendar of newsworthy stories to share each month around the theme for the events — DRI TRI Challenge for Muscular Dystrophy where we highlighted the Special Olympics Plane Pull at Denver International Airport with an Orangetheory member whose daughter was participating. Other events with “good news” stories to share included Pound-for-Pound where members burned pounds to contribute pounds of turkey to help people in need. We collaborated with the Denver Rescue Mission to promote the efforts of individual studios.

The success of our communications strategy helped to bring greater awareness about Orangetheory Fitness studios in Colorado and its philanthropic outreach – delivering “More Life” to Colorado through a caring fitness community.

What we did for CorePower Yoga

Sampson PR developed a brand identity campaign for Core Power Yoga founders by building awareness in the media and online.  

Branding efforts included compiling collateral pieces including biographic profile, byline column, news release and company fact sheet.

Outcomes include feature media placements in targeted publications including Avid Lifestyles Magazine, Colorado Business Magazine, and the Denver Business Journal.
